Allfresh Food Products, Inc., was founded in 1952 in Evanston, IL, with the intent to make the best soybean shortenings with puff and roll-in products.

We use a proprietary “Chill-Roll” process that produces crystalized products using the finest domestic soybean oils. The products are well-tempered for days before packaging to give superior workability.

Our soybean shortening products produce up to 11% more volume than competitive products. Works equally well in conventional and blitz methods. Light, flaky eye appeal increases your yield; the buttery flavor always brings them back for more.

Allfresh products are considered premium and our distributors sell our fine products to bakers all over the United States.

We do not use palm oil in any of our products which is imported from Asia.

Many of our competitors use palm oil in their shortenings which is manufactured overseas will little or no quality standards. They use chemical solvents to extract palm oil.

The large-scale cultivation of palm oil has been cited by environmental groups as a threat to the orangutan and other primates that inhabit the rainforests.  The impact of these plantations includes deforestation, habitat loss of critically endangered species, and a significant increase in greenhouse gas emissions.

Orangutans today are endangered and at risk of extinction.
